Global legal network
AWG has established a global legal network (GLN) comprised of national contact groups, regional advisory committees, and other country groupings.
These groups are comprised of leading international and national law firms and offices involved in aircraft financing and leasing. Each group is coordinated by a firm selected by AWG.
The main function of the GLN is to assist and advise AWG on the interpretation, ratification, implementation of and compliance with the Cape Town Convention and its Aircraft Protocol (CTC) by such countries. The GLN also serves as a forum for the discussion and assessment of practical aspects of CTC at a national level.
